Esther Wanjihia, LMFT

Are you experiencing predictable or unexpected change or transition in your career, relationships, and personal growth journey? You know that something needs to change; however, your current process is not working. Are you ready to take action to create the meaningful life you desire? I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (WA). I am excited to provide practical and applicable solutions as you seek help for the challenge you are currently experiencing.

I am passionate about serving parents and caregivers of children aged 2-12 with autism and/or developmental disabilities as they navigate finding the right care for their child. I also address the unique dynamic navigating your child’s care has on marriage, parenting and career.

My experience finding the right help at the right time delivered in a personalized way in high school was so distinctly meaningful that I decided to pursue counseling as my career.  I graduated with my master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University, Seattle, WA, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Daystar University, Nairobi, Kenya. I have 10+years’ experience in behavioral health assessments, personalized service delivery, strategic planning & execution, as well as risk assessment & mitigation. My approach is influenced by clinical training, clinical experiences and lived experience as a parent of a child with exceptional needs who has successfully navigated life transitions.

Change, true transformation, occurs when we acknowledge and address the unexpected/the challenge, deconstruct unhelpful patterns, and adapt or reconstruct habits that empower you to yield desired outcomes consistently and continuously. I am looking forward to journeying with you as your transition from overwhelm to thriving. Use the contact form below to get in touch with me.
